Bullying and harassment course

 

Unfortunately bullying and harassment can be part of workplace culture, even in companies with clear policies about treating each other well. If bullying and harassment is not handled by management and colleagues, it can have serious impact on the victims. This course helps to ensure that managers and colleagues know what to do if they identify bullying and harassment in the workplace and tools to handle the situation.

 

COURSE CONTENT

Some of the areas that are usually addressed are:

- Introduction to harassment and bullying
- Responsibilities of the manager and the employees
- What’s considered bullying
- What’s considered harassment
- The impact and consequences of bullying and harassment
- Understanding the victim and the bully
- The role of the bystanders who observe the situations
- How to investigate and handle the situation
- How to support the victims
- A few key tools for supporting a healthy work environment

ACTIVITY LEVEL

The attendees are expected to play an active part and the tools will be trained during the course.
