Conflict management course

 

Conflicts and conflict resolution are normal parts of our lives whether in our families or in the workplace, but we often don’t realise it because many of these conflicts are resolved without much effort, we feel the tension, but it never escalates beyond what we can resolve. However, sometimes when conflicts and tensions are not resolved they escalate and can create real problems in the workplace. Unresolved conflicts are stressful and can seriously harm the individual and your business. This course ensures that managers and employees can prevent, identify and/or handle conflicts.

Some of the areas that are usually addressed are:

- What is a conflict
- How and why do conflicts escalate
- Communication during conflict 
- Tolls to resolve a conflict
- What to do if you are the manager
- What to do if you are part of the conflict
- Tools to avoid or handle conflicts better in the future

ACTIVITY LEVEL

The attendees are expected to play an active part and the tools will be trained during the course.
